If you’ve ever had the privilege of knowing Lacey, you already know what a light she is in this world. She is, without question, one of the most selfless, generous, and compassionate people we’ve ever known. Lacey spends her free time running a nonprofit that supports women in need — always pouring her energy into lifting others up. Now, our incredible friend needs us to lift her up. Lacey has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. She will begin chemotherapy and will undergo additional treatments in the months ahead. The decisions are overwhelming, and everything is moving so fast. In true Lacey fashion, she’s facing it all with courage and grace — but she shouldn’t have to face it alone. She’s not one to ever ask for help, so we’re asking on her behalf. Lacey just started a new job and hasn’t had time to build up much sick leave. She will need significant time off to focus on healing — and the medical bills are already piling up. Lacey has spent her life giving to others. She shows up. She steps in. She serves without hesitation. Now it’s her turn to receive that same love and support. We know the road ahead will be long and challenging, but if anyone can make it through with strength and hope, it’s Lacey.
